During my final semester at Franciscan University, I coded a website from scratch while learning basic coding including HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and how to use them together in order to better the development of a website I created. Although design was not the top priority, I focused on simple and intuitive designs that would allow viewers to understand this website.
In my last semester at Franciscan University, I led a team of 3 in doing user interface and experience research for my schools academic platform named “The Port”. Through this research, we collected responses from students and faculty within the business department on their experiences and preferences on how our schools UX designers can further advance the success of our main platform.
Throughout my final year of college, I reached out to the owners of Clear Creek Coffee, and worked with them in creating ideas and having conversations with a real life business which allowed me to have greater experience in discussions, understanding needs, and having a project up to the point of creation pursued.
My Design Philosophy
This is a current project I am working on from early communication, to wireframes, her logo, and colors, now to the launch soon into August. Watch my 0-1 creation of this website with a client one-on-one.
